Sched Help

RETURNING TO YNY THIS YEAR: Sched!

Sched is our new platform that hosts ticketing, program information, faculty bios, and more all in the same place!

You can find everything here: https://yiddishnewyork2025.sched.com/

Navigation Help:

CLICK HERE to view a pre-recorded walkthrough.

As always, you can reach Clara at ynycoordinator@gmail.com. It may take me a few days to get back to you, but I will!

Schedule Views

To view the schedule, click the link above. The default display is Simple.
To change the schedule layout, find the Schedule button with the dropdown arrow. It is on the left side, just above where the schedule begins. Place your cursor over the dropdown (don’t click, just hover), to see four view options:
1) Simple: This is the default view, which displays the entire schedule in chronological order.
2) Expanded: The entire schedule in chronological order with faculty, location, and time information.
3) Grid: Day-by-day events arranged by room. Change the date at the top using the dropdown. Since we have so many venues, you’ll need to navigate around by clicking and holding while you drag to move.
4) By Venue: The complete list each day in each room.

To view a specific type of events, click the event types on the right side. (If they have subcategories, you’ll need to select “All” or the subcategory.
To return to the full schedule view, scroll to the top and click “Clear Filter”. It appears towards the right side, just above the schedule.

For all schedule views: When you hover over the title of the event, a pop-up will appear with the event description and details.

Ticketing

To purchase tickets, click the purple button on the right side of the screen above the filters. Tickets are arranged by price and are labeled as On-Site and Online.

You will need to create a log-in. This will allow you to change your personal schedule, access the links for online/hybrid programs, view your schedule on the app, and more.

Types of Passes:
– Full Festival Passes, Additional Individual, and Kids/Teens passes give access to the entire festival!
– Session Passes give access to a specific number of sessions.

What is a “session”? A session is any YNY event on the schedule! Concert, workshop, class, dance party, lecture—anything you see there!

Creating Your Personalized Schedule

Once you’ve purchased a pass, you can start building your own schedule! Select events you’d like to attend, but don’t worry – you can change your mind up until the start of YNY.

Faculty Bios

Click on any faculty name to see their bio! You can also view the entire faculty list by clicking “Speakers” at the top of the page. (Next to the schedule view dropdown.)

Sched App

If you would like to access the schedule on your phone, we recommend using the Sched app. Download it from your app store, then search for Yiddish New York 2025. You will not be able to login on the app until you’ve purchased a ticket via a web browser.
