Hilary Danailova writes for Hadassah Magazine about Yiddish New York and a wave of other groups and individuals who are working to revitalize, reclaim (and a bunch of other words starting with “re-“) Yiddish language and culture. The article features YNY Organizing Committee member Sarah Gordon, faculty member Rokhl Kafrissen, last year’s featured ensemble Tsibele, and a host of our friends.
