YNY 2025 Volunteer & Scholarship Opportunities

Volunteering: Tech/Registration Assistance

Daniel Blacksberg

Tech/Registration Assistance

Thanks for your interest in volunteering for Yiddish New York – December 20-25, 2025. We are in need of volunteers online and on-site.

Online Volunteers: If you host two Zoom meetings in a day, you’ll receive a Day Pass providing admission with all the Daytime Programs and Evening Events for that day.

On-site Volunteers: If you take a shift volunteering, you’ll receive a Day Pass providing admission with all the Daytime Programs and Evening Events for that day. On-site volunteer responsibilities might be checking people in, ushering for concerts, merchandise sales, and classroom Zoom tech assistance.

Please fill out our brief Volunteer sign-up form.  We’ll let you know in early December if you have been selected. If you have questions please email Clara at ynycoordinator@gmail.com.

Scholarships

We are pleased to offer scholarships for participants ages 18-35– allowing entrance to the entire 6-day program for only $85.  This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to collaborate and study with YNY’s outstanding faculty.

From lectures to workshops in instrumental klezmer music, Yiddish vocal music, theater and dance, to Yiddish language lessons to social justice programs, Yiddish New York has something for everyone! This year’s celebration will feature an incredible faculty of more than 70 of Yiddish culture’s leading artists, scholars, and personalities. Individuals of all backgrounds are welcome!
